Can all lofts be converted?
Most lofts can be converted. We will come and carry out a free survey to assess your lofts suitability.
How long will the work take?
A standard dormer will be finished within six weeks and a hip to gable or dormer with a rear addition will take up to eight weeks.
Do we need to move out while our loft is converted?
No, the majority of the work is carried out from the scaffolding so we don't even need to come into your house until the last two weeks.
Can I see a completed conversion?
We have plenty of satisfied clients who are happy to show off their finished conversions.
Will you obtain planning permission and building regulations approvals?
We will produce your plans and deal with the council on your behalf to obtain all necessary approvals.
Will the new staircase match the existing one?
It is important to us that every loft should feel as if it has always been a part of the house.

Are you insured?
Yes we have full public and employee's liability insurance.
Do you have any accreditation?
We are members of the Federation of Master Builders, the European Builders Confederation and part of the Trust Mark scheme.

Yes, we are able to offer a market leading Masterbond Warranty.
Do you use subcontractors?
Our Director Tom Reed is also our Head Carpenter. He will be on site every day building your loft and managing his team. This means that you can easily make changes as the job progresses and be sure that Reed Lofts high standards are the same on every job.
